Celebrate all the tricks and treats of Halloween from the comfort and safety of your own vehicle at the BOO Drive-Thru. This not-too-scary adventure takes you and your family on a journey through Dorey Park, where you’ll see spooky scenes with a contactless sweet treat at the end. Free, no registration required. Notes for 2021:

• Henrico Recreation and Parks welcomes you to wind your way through Halloween scenes including Bug Bizarre, Ghosts in the Graveyard, SCAREcrows, Snow-pocalypse, Swamp Ghouls, and the Haunted Ship
• The drive-thru experience is recommended for guests aged 4+
• After entering the park you will be directed to a staging area to wait for your turn to go through the drive-thru.  While waiting you will receive instructions and one bag of candy per vehicle.
• You will be driving through the route on your own. No prolonged stopping.  Speed maximum is 5 MPH. Please follow all instructions given by Henrico Police and Recreation and Parks staff.
• The drive-thru will take about twenty minutes from the first scene to the last.

Safety Tips:

• All guests must remain in their vehicles for the duration of the experience.
• No motorcycles, scooters, or bicycles.
• Make sure gas tank is full and your vehicle is in proper working condition.
• Allergy alert: Candy may contain peanuts.

• Staff are doing all they can to make sure this event happens! It may need to be modified slightly, but it will be a fun evening!
• While we hope the rain ends prior to 6pm, it may impact set up.
• The event will open at 6pm, but start time for the drive-thru could be delayed briefly (if set up is delayed).
