Although Henrico County Staff will be assisting with traffic\, there will be a lot of vehicles on the property. \n\nAccessibility & ASL Interpreters\nAccessible parking spaces will be available to those with a disabled license plate or placard. Spots are limited\, and we may be using a golf cart shuttle service to transport guests from reserved handicap parking to the event area. From handicap parking\, guests will need to walk up to 0.1 mile into the event viewing space. Accessible restrooms will be open. \nWe are pleased to offer ASL interpretation at Juneteenth! SUMMARY:TFP: Movie in the Park
DESCRIPTION:Taylor Farm Park Grand Opening Celebration\, July 16-20! \nJoin us in the park for an outdoor movie- we selected a film about crime-fighting animals who ride skateboards. (Because of the all-wheel park\, of course!) \nWe’re showing the 1990 version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The movie will begin at sunset\, approximately 8:30pm\, in the Event Lawn. \nBring your lawn chair or blanket and a flashlight. Concessions available for purchase include popcorn from Pope’s Treats or desserts from Unicorn Sweet Treats. \n  \nYou’re also invited to join us for a week-long celebration of our newest park\, July 16-20!

DESCRIPTION:The Henrico County Police Animal Protection Unit will hold a rabies clinic on August 17\, 2024\, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Western Government Complex (4301 E. Parham Road). \nRabies vaccinations are $20 each\, cash only! \nRegistration and payment are done first inside the Administration building at the Cashier’s office. You will then proceed to veterinarian on the first level of the parking deck adjacent to the Administration Building. \nHenrico County dog licenses will also be available. The lifetime license fee is $10. The license is for the life of the dog and is valid as long as the dog’s owner resides in the County and the dog’s rabies vaccination is kept current. The license is void if the dog does not receive a rabies vaccination within 30 days of the expiration of the dog’s current rabies vaccination. \nContact the Henrico Police Animal Shelter at 804-727-8801 (Mon-Sat 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.) with any questions.

DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Henrico County Police Division will host a Child Safety Seat Check-Up event on Saturday\, August 17\, 2024\, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fairfield Area Library (1401 N. Laburnum Avenue\, Henrico\, VA 23223). \nWHO\nThis FREE event is an opportunity for Richmond metro-area residents to make sure their child’s car seat/booster seat is installed properly. Registration for this event is strongly encouraged for planning purposes. \nFACTS\nAccording to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)\, while most parents and caregivers are confident that they have correctly installed their child’s car seat\, almost half (46%) have been installed incorrectly. A properly used/installed car seat can reduce the risk of death for your child by 71%. \nWHAT TO BRING\nIf you plan to attend the event\, please bring the following items/individuals\, if possible: \n\nThe seats with accompanying manuals\n\n\nChild(ren) who will be using the seats\, if possible\n\n\nAny caregivers (ie. family members\, nannies/sitters) who transport the child(ren) in the seats so everyone can be helped and educated on proper use\n\nThis event is currently scheduled rain or shine.
