DESCRIPTION:The County of Henrico is proposing to improve 1.75 miles of Woodman Road to provide a four-lane divided roadway between Hungary Road and Mountain Road. The project includes turn lane improvements\, a shared use path\, and sidewalk along the corridor. Pedestrian crossings with push buttons and count down timers will be provided at each signalized intersection. Project plans and schematics will be available to view\, and County staff will be available to answer questions. You will also have the opportunity to provide comments. \n  \nThe purpose of this meeting is to provide information about the project and receive public input. The meeting will be an open-house format and County staff will be available to answer questions. \n  \nThe meeting will be held on Monday\, May 13\, 2024\, at Brookland Middle School (Gymnasium)\, 9200 Lydell Drive\, Henrico\, VA 23228 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. \n  \nInformation related to the project can also be reviewed on the County website below or at the County of Henrico\, Department of Public Works\, 4305 E. DESCRIPTION:The Henrico County Police Animal Protection Unit will hold a rabies clinic on May 18\, 2024\, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Western Government Complex (4301 E. Parham Road). \nRabies vaccinations are $20 each\, cash only! \nRegistration and payment are done first inside the Administration building at the Cashier’s office. You will then proceed to the veterinarian on the first level of the parking deck adjacent to the Administration Building. \nHenrico County dog licenses will also be available. The lifetime license fee is $10. The license is for the life of the dog and is valid as long as the dog’s owner resides in the County and the dog’s rabies vaccination is kept current. The license is void if the dog does not receive a rabies vaccination within 30 days of the expiration of the dog’s current rabies vaccination. \nContact the Henrico Police Animal Shelter at 804-727-8801 (Mon-Sat 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.) with any questions.

Although Henrico County Staff will be assisting with traffic\, there will be a lot of vehicles on the property. \n\nAccessibility & ASL Interpreters\nAccessible parking spaces will be available to those with a disabled license plate or placard. Spots are limited\, and we may be using a golf cart shuttle service to transport guests from reserved handicap parking to the event area.
