DESCRIPTION:Join the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay\, the County of Henrico Recreation and Parks Department\, and the County of Henrico Department of Public Works in planting trees at Brook Road Neighborhood Park! \nVolunteers are encouraged to wear clothing appropriate for outside work – long sleeves\, long pants\, and close-toed shoes are recommended. Bring a water bottle. Activities will include preparing trees and tree wells for planting\, amending soil\, planting trees\, and mulching and watering around planting sites. If you have never planted a tree before\, do not worry. We will provide instruction. All necessary tools will be provided. \nVolunteers will plant trees and shrubs throughout the park. Volunteers will work alongside Capital Trees and Henrico County leaders – no experience necessary!
