A pair of science-themed workshops geared for youth ages 9 to 13 - Make it Merry and Make it Bright - will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Monday, Dec. 22 and Friday, Jan. 2 at the Belmont Recreation Center, 1600 Hilliard Road.
