Project Description:

• The County of Henrico installed approximately 1,400 feet of 12-foot-wide, paved multi-use trail across Lakeside Avenue to Park Street and into Henrico County Spring Park. This work is part of The Fall Line Trail, a 43-mile north-south paved trail that will connect Ashland to Petersburg. Trail features include a pedestrian median crossing and pedestrian hybrid beacon across Lakeside and select amenities at Spring Park.

Estimated Schedule:

• Design is complete.
• Right-of-way acquisition is complete.
• Utility relocation is complete.
• Advertisement for construction is complete.
• Construction is complete.

Progress to Date

• On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, the Henrico County Department of Public Works held a public information meeting from 5:00pm to 6:30pm at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens.  Materials from the meeting can be found in the Documents section below.
