Magisterial District: Brookland

The County of Henrico will be constructing accommodations to increase pedestrian access and connectivity. The following improvements will be constructed:

Sidewalk to connect two existing segments of concrete sidewalk to provide safe and ADA-compliant access for pedestrians. The proposed section of 5-ft sidewalk will span approximately 165-ft between Walton Farms Drive and Hardings Way Drive.
The project includes reconstruction of four (4) existing concrete entrances.
Four (4) parcels will be impacted by construction.

Design is underway.
Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to begin 2nd Quarter, 2024.
Utility relocation is not anticipated.
Construction is anticipated to begin 4th Quarter, 2024.
