The Project provides for safe pedestrian access at nine (9) intersections along Staples Mill Road between Aspen Avenue and Janway Road.

The nine (9) intersections are –  

  1. Staples Mill Road and Aspen Avenue/Townhouse Road
  2. Staples Mill Road and Penick Road
  3. Staples Mill Road and Hilliard Road/Glenside Drive
  4. Staples Mill Road and Crockett Street
  5. Staples Mill Road and Bremner Boulevard
  6. Staples Mill Road and Wistar Road
  7. Staples Mill Road and Hermitage Road
  8. Staples Mill Road and Stoneman Road
  9. Staples Mill Road and Janway Road

 

Estimated Schedule:

  • Design underway
  • Right-of-Way acquisition began in 3rd Quarter, 2025
  • Utility relocation is anticipated to begin in 2nd Quarter, 2026
  • Advertisement for construction is anticipated for 3rd Quarter, 2026
  • Construction to begin in 2027
