The four main transit corridors in the County are served by over 200 bus stops, many of which do not have shelters, benches, or ADA-compliant accessibility due to lack of sidewalk and ramps.  While Henrico County is actively working to provide these facilities, more funding is needed to meet the growing demand. 

Approximately 30 transit stops in the County are in need shelters.  At an average cost of $25,000 to install a concrete pad, ADA access, shelter, and trash receptacle.

Approximately 50 transit stops are in need of benches.  At an average cost of $10,000 to install a concrete pad, ADA access, bench, and trash receptacle.
