The Office of the General Registrar and Electoral Board of Henrico County strive to promote the highest level of service to the citizens of the Commonwealth by providing equitable opportunities to register and vote; and by maintaining accurate records relating to voter registration, elections, election officials, and candidates. We are committed to promoting democracy and public trust in our endeavors to ensure fair and impartial elections.
Combating Misinformation
Mis- and disinformation are widespread in elections. Misinformation can consist of false rumors and misconceptions about elections, and disinformation can be a targeted measure to spread incorrect information to intentionally mislead voters. The Virginia State Board of Elections has comprised facts and resources to numerous materials as well as verified information on this important topic. Mail-In Ballots Drop Boxes
The Office of Voter Registration and Elections has installed five drop boxes.
One at each government center – where voters can submit their completed ballots Starting Friday, September 20, 2024:
