Sewer Connection Assistance Program

The Henrico County Sewer Connection Assistance Program can provide sewer connection assistance to qualified Henrico residents who would like to connect their home to newly extended sewer lines. This program will provide up to $15,000 in assistance for plumbing costs associated with converting a home from septic to sewer or from a well to County water. Assistance may also be available for water connection in certain situations (see Does my property qualify? below). This program is made possible by Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Funding or financing to pay for water/sewer connection fees is not available in all cases. Contact Henrico Department of Utilities to learn if financing is available in your area.
