Join the Henrico Civilians Fire Academy (formerly the Citizens Fire Academy) and become an integral part of our community’s safety! Established in 2000, this engaging public education program is designed for residents of Henrico County, now open to everyone County resident or not. Our informative sessions are on Thursday nights for eight weeks or choose an immersive two-day weekend experience. Experience thrilling activities like rappelling, operating fire apparatus, learning life-saving CPR techniques, and mastering vehicle extrication, all while building valuable skills and knowledge. Don’t miss this opportunity to empower yourself and contribute to the safety of your community. Highlights of the Academy include rappelling, driving fire apparatus, learning CPR, vehicle extrication and much more.
September will still offer an incredible 8-week Academy for those who are unable to attend the April session.
