Online payment system is now available! Payments can be made on most cases by using a computer or mobile device. Payments can be made 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays! (System is not available from 4:00a.m.-5:00a.m. daily for maintenance) Please visit either of the following sites for access:

Otherwise, payments for fines and/or court costs are accepted Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding holidays. Payments may be made in person in the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office or via the mail in addition to our online payment system. Please note credit card payments cannot be made by phone.
If payment is sent via the mail and a receipt is desired, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with the payment.
When paying by personal check, checks should be made payable to: Clerk, Henrico Circuit Court. Money orders, certified checks and cashier’s checks are also acceptable methods of payment. Please include the defendant’s name and case number on all checks or money orders for proper credit. Never send cash payment via mail.
Any court ordered fine, restitution, forfeiture, or penalty and cost that a defendant may be required to pay, after a conviction for a violation of a traffic or criminal law, may be paid in deferred payments or installments pursuant to an approved payment plan. Additionally, community service may be performed to discharge all or part of the fine and costs. (See Notice below).
If court ordered restitution is owed, any money collected pursuant to a deferred or installment payment agreement shall be used first to satisfy such restitution order. This is programmed into the state financial management system and is automatically applied pursuant to Virginia law.
