Virginia Energy Connect

The Virginia Department of Energy recently launched Virginia Energy Connect, which is a centralized hub for all energy programs and incentives for Virginia homeowners, renters, and businesses.

Along with educational pages on energy efficiency, solar, and electric vehicles, the site’s Incentives Browser provides users with a customized list of incentives and programs they are likely eligible for. This includes federal, state, utility, and local programs that can help Virginians save on their energy bills and improve the comfort of their homes.

Virginia Energy Connect:

  • Gets more Virginians using available incentives to lower bills, replace failing equipment, and improve comfort
  • Enhances understanding of energy improvements
  • Boosts awareness of incentives and combats misinformation
  • Simplifies navigation of program requirements and applications

How It Works:

  • Answer a few anonymous questions about your property and finances
  • Get a personalized list – eligibility, savings estimates (coming soon), and how to apply
  • Connect with a local expert for one-on-one support
