Solar Access Henrico Receives NACo Achievement Award

Henrico County’s Solar Access Henrico program was recently awarded an Achievement Award from the National Association of Counties. The program provided over 200 households with solar energy at no cost to the homeowners.

Fall 2026 Energy Fair

Regional Environmental Surveys from DEQ, CVWMA, and PlanRVA

Virginia’s Department of Environmental Quality, CVWMA, and PlanRVA have released surveys to learn more about residents’ attitudes and habits surrounding food waste, composting, and recycling.

Solar Panel Certification Program at Henrico’s Jail East

Henrico County’s Sustainability Division collaborated with FLIPP Inc. on the solar panel certification program. This program is offered to inmates who are nearing their release from Henrico’s Jail East, and it provided training to prepare individuals to work as solar panel installers.
