Henrico County’s proposed budget for the 2014 fiscal year – the smallest county budget since 2008 – now is available online. The Proposed Annual Fiscal Plan and Capital Budget for Fiscal Year 2013-2014 details revenues and expenditures for all county agencies from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014. The proposed budget closes an $18.5 million gap without laying off employees or increasing the real estate tax rate of 87 cents per $100 assessed value – the lowest among the 13 largest localities in Virginia. The budget includes reductions to a number of county programs and services. Click here.
