Lakeside Land Use Study
The Henrico County Department of Planning, in partnership with local architecture and planning firm Glavé & Holmes, is in the process of creating a draft land use plan for the Lakeside corridor after completing a public design charrette during the week of August 25th. 2045 Comprehensive Plan - Suggestion Sessions
Thanks to all who participated in the Spring 2025 Suggestion Sessions. If you were unable to attend one of the meetings, community members are encouraged to check out this short informational video.When finished, please review the Draft 2045 Future Land Use Maps and leave your suggestions. Comments will be accepted until June 2, 2025.

Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances
On August 12, 2025, the Board of Supervisors amended the Subdivision and Zoning Ordinances to conform them to recent changes in state law. The updated ordinances and the admendments are linked below.
