Richmond-Henrico Turnpike/Meadowbridge Road will be closed at the Henrico-Hanover county line for repairs, beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18.
The Henrico County Department of Public Works (DPW) expects the road to remain closed through Sunday, March 31. A section of the road suffered extensive damage during Tropical Storm Michael last October.
Northbound traffic will be detoured from Richmond-Henrico onto Azalea Avenue, Carolina Avenue and East Laburnum Avenue to Mechanicsville Turnpike, which connects to Meadowbridge via Atlee Road. Southbound traffic will be detoured from Meadowbridge onto Atlee.
