Henrico County’s Senior Safety Day to be held Nov. 20

Henrico County will present Senior Safety Day on Wednesday, Nov. 20 to provide residents with information on a variety of topics, including consumer protection and fall prevention.

Senior Safety Day will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Henrico County Training Center, 7701 E. Parham Road. The event is free to attend, but registration is required at [email protected] or (804) 501-5065.

Other topics to be discussed include CBD (cannabis compound) oil safety, fire prevention, driver safety and Project Lifesaver, a rapid response program for individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and autism.

Senior Safety Day is organized by the Advocate for the Aging’s Office and is part of the EngAGE initiative, which strives to make Henrico the best place to age. For more information, go to henrico.us/services/seniors.
