The Henrico County Office of the Advocate for the Aging will present the inaugural Falls Prevention Fall Festival for older adults Tuesday, Oct. 26 at the Eastern Henrico Recreation Center, 1440 N. Laburnum Ave.
The free event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is designed to help residents ages 60 and older protect themselves by preventing falls at home.
Attendees will be able to play carnival games for prizes, browse vendor booths as well as receive vision, hearing and blood pressure screenings, gait and balance checks and personalized, at-home exercises and fall prevention strategies.
