People over 50 and other high-risk groups are now eligible for a second COVID-19 vaccine booster

The CDC has updated its recommendations to allow the following groups to receive another mRNA booster provided they received their first booster at least four months ago:

• People over the age of 50
• Immunocompromised individuals who are at least 12 years old
• People who received both a primary and a booster dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine
