Magisterial District:   Tuckahoe

The Henrico County Department of Public Works constructed a roundabout with pedestrian crossings and pedestrian lights on Derbyshire Road at its intersection with Heathfield Road and Lakewater Drive. Due to resident concerns with speeding and cut-through traffic, the roundabout was constructed in the existing right-of-way.

  • A paved shared-use path on the north side of Derbyshire.
  • Additional pedestrian crossings.
  • Addition of a left turn lane at N Mooreland Rd.

Please continue to check back for updates as design and improvements progress.

  • Construction for the Derbyshire Roundabout is complete.
  • Design is underway for additional improvements .
  • Construction for additional improvements is anticipated in 2027.
