Youth & Family Child-Adult Relationship Enhancement Training
Child-Adult Relationship Enhancement (CARE) is a trauma-informed way for any adult to interact with any child or teen in any environment and with a multitude of child populations, ages 2-18. CARE uses ideas and skills that are part of evidence-based, positive parenting programs, but it is not therapy, participants will learn a skillset that can enhance child-adult relationships. The principles learned in this training can benefit daycares and preschools, libraries, youth sports programs, or any program where youth are served by adults. This four-hour training can be hosted in a variety of settings and allows a hands-on experience with the goal of improving communication, strengthening relationships, and decreasing problematic behaviors.
