Cyclocross (CX)
Starts at 9:30 AM with races until 3:00 p.m. Registration is required. Visit THR Cycling’s website.
What’s cyclocross? Arguably the most engaging and potentially goofiest form of bike racing, especially from a spectator’s point of view. CX racers make several loops on a winding course with various terrain and obstacles. Since the racers aren’t going all that fast, it’s a tradition for spectators to heckle them and give them “hand ups”, easily grabbable snacks or drinks or money.

WeeWheel will be hosting the Lil Begiums Kids Races. Click here to register in advance.
Starting at 9:00 AM, Dentwood Coffee Co. and Waffles on Wheels will be serving coffee and food for purchase.

Vendor Expo: Local cycling businesses, organizations, and non-profits, as well as bike shops with demo bikes.
Bike Beauty Pageant: Featuring local fabricators. Vote for your favorite in the following categories:
- Wildest Paint Job
- Best Custom Build
- Ugliest Duckling
Signed Trails: Beginner, intermediate, and advanced mountain biking trails.
Local Cycling History: Display from McCauley Cycle Works.
Live recording of The Wheel Community podcast: A panel of Henrico County employees and regional partners will discuss pedestrian use and infrastructure improvements.

HenBIKEo is for Kids, too!
Kids skills park provided by WeeWheel, as well as free kids helmets and bike rentals.
A Jump Contest will be held by WeeWheel at 3:30pm.

Bike to the Event
Outpost Richmond is hosting an adventure ride to HenBIKEo. (Meeting time and location TBD.) Recommended for intermediate/ advanced cyclists.
Satellite parking will be at Glen Allen Elementary and at the end of Brookley Road, so you can ride your bike to the event!
- Routes to the event will be marked.
- Bike Valet parking will be available at the event.
- Ride a bike to or at the event to get the HenBIKEo shirt!
