Henrico Extension selling Apple Pie Kits to support 4-H youth programs

The Henrico County office of Virginia Cooperative Extension is selling Apple Pie Kits for $15 to benefit local 4-H youth programs.

The kits provide a fun, family activity and include everything to make a pie from scratch, except for water, salt and butter. Dinwiddie County 4-H Extension Agent Hannah Bishop will hold a virtual session Monday, Nov. 23 to answer questions and share pie-making tips.

Pie kits can be ordered online. Checks should be payable to “Henrico 4-H Fund” and mailed to VCE- Henrico 4-H, P.O. Box 90775 Henrico, VA 23273. Orders and payments must be received by Friday, Nov. 6. Kits will be available for pickup from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18 and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19 at the loading dock of the Human Services Building, 8600 Dixon Powers Drive.
