Fairfield meeting Feb. 22 will celebrate Black History Month with dialogue ‘Race: Antecedents, Challenges, and Promises’

Board of Supervisors Chairman and Fairfield District Supervisor Frank J. Thornton will hold a Fairfield Constituent Meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 22 to present a scholarly discussion of race in celebration of Black History Month.

Thornton and William M. Harris Sr., a professor emeritus of urban studies and planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will discuss “Race: Antecedents, Challenges, and Promises.”

The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Eastern Henrico Recreation Center, 1440 N. Laburnum Ave.
