Households that participate in the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) are not expected to receive benefits beginning Nov. 1 if the federal government shutdown continues.
Henrico County recognizes that this service disruption would pose a hardship for many individuals and families. Along with neighboring localities, the county is coordinating with Feed More to ensure that residents’ nutritional needs are met.
