Pump Road Sidewalk Project

The County of Henrico will be constructing pedestrian access along the east side of Pump Road from Hazel Tree Drive to Kingsbury Court.  The following improvements will be constructed, including: 0.44 miles of 5-foot sidewalk, 2-foot wide utility strip, road widening, curb and gutter and storm sewer on the east side of Pump Road from Kingsbury Court to Hazel Tree Drive

Estimated Schedule

• Design began May 2018.
• Right-of-way acquisition was completed May 2020.
• Utility relocation was completed February 2021.
• Advertised for Construction January 2021.
• Construction began July 2021.
• Project completed April 2022.

• A Citizen Information Meeting was held on Monday, February 2019
