The County of Henrico is conducting a study to evaluate necessary safety and operational improvements along the Route 5 and New Osborne Turnpike corridors. This study is being conducted in partnership with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and the City of Richmond. The next step is collecting traffic data.

- A public information meeting will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Varina Library, 1875 New Market Road, Henrico, VA 23231.
