Magisterial District:   Brookland   Tuckahoe  

The County of Henrico will be constructing improvements to multi-modal function, transit access, and pedestrian safety and accessibility along W. Broad Street between Forest Avenue and Willow Lawn Drive. The following improvements will be constructed, including: 

• ​​Sidewalk facilities, where currently not installed, on both sides of Broad Street 
• Curb ramps and crosswalks, proposed GRTC transit stops, intersection modifications, pedestrian bridge crossing, and traffic and pedestrian signal improvements​

Design development is underway  Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to begin 2026​  Utility relocation is anticipated to begin ​2027​  Advertisement for construction is anticipated ​in 2028  Construction is anticipated to begin ​ June 2028 ​
