Section 24-4404.D. In any district used for residential purposes, one travel, utility and/or boat trailer, as an accessory use, may be parked or stored in the rear, side yard, carport or garage on the same lot with the principal use, provided it shall not be occupied for living or business purposes. The wheels or other transporting devices may not be removed, except for repairs, nor can the trailer be connected to any utility service, to the ground or any other structure in any manner that would prevent its ready removal.
Zoning Ordinance Violations :: Trucks & Commercial Trailers
Section 24-5108.E. No area in any A or R district, except on a farm, shall be used for parking any truck or commercial vehicle exceeding 10,000 pounds gross weight, any commercial trailer, or any wrecker, except while loading, unloading, or working at or near the location where it is parked.
Properties with trash, debris or litter often have other ordinance violations. When you call to report a problem, please be prepared to let the County staff know about any other problems on the property. To help the inspectors address and resolve all problems concerning the property, they will need to know:
- Is the property vacant or occupied?
- Are there any inoperable or unlicensed vehicles or trailers on the property?
- Is there any trash, garbage or litter on the property that is not stored in a covered, watertight container?
- Have you seen any evidence of rats on the property?
