Community Development Associates Program

Henrico County’s Community Development Associates Program allows college juniors or seniors to work for Henrico County while completing school and then be offered full-time employment following graduation.
Participant Requirements:
- Maintain enrollment in a fully accredited college or university with a major in urban planning, geography, engineering, architecture, or another related field on a full-time basis (at least 12 credit hours per semester)
- Work for Henrico County a minimum of 400 hours per year at an hourly rate of $23 per hour
Upon graduation and maintaining at least a “Meets Expectations” on performance evaluations, you will be offered a full-time position with Community Development, Building Inspections, Planning, Public Utilities, or Public Works!
