Gigi Amateau, Trauma-Informed Care Lab Director for the VCU Department of Gerontology and the Virginia Center on Aging, will lead this Caregiver Speaker Series session, Preventing Caregiver Burnout: The Value of Self-Care. This session will explore caregiver fatigue and offer practical strategies to prevent burnout, highlighting the importance of self-care and techniques caregivers can use at home and in the community to support their well-being.
