Henrico County general government offices and facilities and Henrico courts and clerks’ offices will operate on a normal schedule Wednesday, Jan. 28.
Motorists are encouraged to drive slowly and allow additional time to reach their destinations. Henrico’s primary and secondary roads are clear, and crews have begun plowing on subdivision and side streets. Officials continue to encourage patience, as low temperatures have slowed the melting of last weekend’s snow and ice.
Trash pickup is expected to resume Wednesday on a two-day delay, where road conditions allow. Residents are encouraged to keep their carts by the curb or road’s edge until pickup occurs. The Springfield Road and Charles City Road public-use areas are expected to open at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
