Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Henrico Recreation & Parks! Compete in contests and games to win epic prizes, dance your favorite jig, and enjoy delicious treats from food truck Sandtopia. The winner of the Leprechaun Challenge will be announced at the event, see details below to participate!

Leprechauns are on the loose awaiting St. Patrick’s Day. If you find a leprechaun, take a photo/selfie with the leprechaun and post to Facebook or Instagram with the tag #luckyhenrico. You will be entered to win the ultimate grand prize – a pair of Beats headphones. The grand prize winner will be announced at the Shamrock Showdown event Thursday, March 17 from 5:30-7:30 pm at Deep Run Park – must be present to win!
Two ways to participate!
- Find a lucky little gnome at Deep Run Park or Dorey Park
- Spot (and catch) the real life leprechaun in the parks!
Be sure to take a photo or selfie with either of the leprechauns and post with the tag #luckyhenrico.
