Individuals have the option to wear or not wear a face covering inside Henrico County buildings and facilities. This policy, effective Monday, Feb. 28, 2022, applies to visitors as well as employees, regardless of their vaccination status.

Henrico updates masking requirements for county buildings

Effective Thursday, Aug. 12, all individuals are required to wear a face covering inside Henrico County buildings and facilities. This requirement is for visitors as well as employees, regardless of their vaccination status.

This requirement is based on recent recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Richmond and Henrico Health Districts. It is made in light of the local spread of the delta variant of the virus and a recent increase of COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations in Henrico and across the region.
