Fairfield meeting Feb. 17 to discuss community development, parks projects

Fairfield District Supervisor Frank J. Thornton will hold a virtual Constituent Meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 17 to discuss the proposed GreenCity and Henrico Plaza site developments as well as Henrico County’s planned indoor sports facility and initiatives of Recreation and Parks.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on WebEx. Residents are encouraged to submit questions in advance to [email protected] or during the meeting in the video’s comment section. To participate by phone, call 1-415-655-0002 and use the access code 180 695 4999.

Thornton will be joined by Michael Hallmark and Susan Eastridge, of GreenCity LLC, to discuss GreenCity and Brian McNeal, of The Rebkee Co., to discuss the indoor sports facility at Virginia Center Commons. Recreation and Parks Director Neil Luther will provide an update on parks projects. Planning Director Joe Emerson will discuss plans for the Henrico Plaza site.
