Varina District Supervisor Tyrone E. Nelson will host a Varina Community Conversations meeting Thursday, April 10 to discuss Henrico’s budget for fiscal year 2025-26 and independent reports of the county’s response to the water crisis of early January.
In addition, officials will explain how Henrico’s participation in the federal Community Rating System allows property owners to save on the costs of flood insurance.
The meeting will be held in two sessions, at 10:30 a.m. at The Springs Recreation Center, 302 Lee Avenue; and at 6:30 p.m. at Varina Area Library, 1875 New Market Road.
