Henrico County general government offices and facilities and Henrico courts and clerks’ offices will close at 2 p.m. today due to the winter storm.
The early closure applies to all facilities, including libraries, recreation centers and public-use areas. Trash collection is being suspended for the day, with routes scheduled to resume Tuesday, Dec. 9, weather permitting. Residents are encouraged to keep their carts by the curb or road’s edge for collection.
The early closure is designed to allow employees to return safely to their homes and to minimize travel this afternoon and evening so crews can focus on road clearing.
