Project Description:

The County of Henrico will be analyzing the following accommodations:

• Reviewing traffic data (volume, speeds, and lane utilization) and crash data to identify potential safety improvements for the corridor of Dickens Road, from Broad Street to Staples Mill Road, and Staples Mill Road, from Dickens Road to Dumbarton Road.
• Identifying potential measures to improve pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicle safety throughout the study area.
• Identifying potential opportunities to improve pedestrian and bicycle connectivity through proposed facilities identified in the County’s Draft Bicycle Plan.

 

Estimated Schedule:

• Study is underway.
• Study completion anticipated Quarter 3, 2024.
