Forest Glen Drainage Improvements

Magisterial District: Fairfield

The County of Henrico will be constructing roadside drainage improvements along Forest Glen Road, including:

Installing inlets and a closed storm drain system to reduce the flows in the swales.
Regrading the roadside swales.
Installing driveway culverts.

Estimated Schedule:

Design is currently underway and anticipated to be complete in July 2023.
Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to begin July 2023.
Advertisement for construction is anticipated to begin August 2023.
Construction is anticipated to begin November 2023.

Progress to Date

Design plans are being finalized,
A public information meeting was held on February 6, 2023, at the North Park Library from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
A second public information meeting is scheduled for April 6, 2023, at Mount Olive Baptist Church from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
