Forest Glen Drainage Improvements

The County of Henrico will be constructing roadside drainage improvements along Forest Glen Road, including:
- Installing inlets and a closed storm drain system to reduce the flows in the swales.
- Regrading the roadside swales.
- Installing driveway culverts.
Estimated Schedule:
- Design is currently underway and anticipated to be complete in July 2023.
- Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to begin July 2023.
- Advertisement for construction is anticipated to begin August 2023.
- Construction is anticipated to begin November 2023.
Progress to Date
- Design plans are being finalized,
- A public information meeting was held on February 6, 2023, at the North Park Library from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
- A second public information meeting is scheduled for April 6, 2023, at Mount Olive Baptist Church from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
