Magisterial District:   Brookland   Three Chopt  

The County of Henrico will be constructing improvements to multi-modal function, transit access, and pedestrian safety and accessibility along W. Broad Street between Parham Road and Pemberton Road. The following improvements will be constructed, including: 

• ​​Sidewalk facilities, where currently not installed, on both sides of Broad Street 
• ​Curb ramps and crosswalks, proposed GRTC transit stops, and intersection modifications​

Design is underway  Right-of-way acquisition is anticipated to begin ​1st Quarter, 2026​  Utility relocation is anticipated to begin ​1st Quarter, 2028 ​  Advertisement for construction is anticipated ​1st Quarter, 2029 ​  Construction is anticipated to begin ​2nd Quarter 2029​
