When the position of Deputy Sheriff opens, and only then, you must apply for the position via The Henrico County Jobs website.  Once the deadline is reached for applications, the process closes and no further applications can be accepted.  

Once the application is processed, you will receive further information on the various steps of the selection process that include an extensive background check, polygraph examination, a board interview, and a physical examination.
