Blaze & Badge
This new opportunity for middle-school-aged-girls, provides firsthand experiences in what it takes to protect, lead and serve. Hosted by the Henrico County Division of Fire and Henrico County Police Division, this four-day event brings resources and experts in the fields of public safety to inspire young women for a potential career in public safety!
THE DETAILS
- When: June 15-18, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Where: Richmond Raceway (600 E. Laburnum Ave)
- Who: Rising 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls (Henrico residents & non-residents)
- Limited spots available
WHAT TO EXPECT
These young ladies will go through two days of fire activities and two days of police activities as part of this camp. This replaces the former successful “Girls on Fire” camp, hosted by the Division of Fire. The goal is to introduce more public safety activities to our young ladies!
HOW TO REGISTER
Registration opens to the public on March 1-21, 2026. Spots are limited, so please register here as soon as possible to secure a spot.
