Food Vendor Application for Henrico Recreation and Parks Events

An approved application is required to sell food on park or county property. Once your application is submitted and approved you will be able to be considered for events. Consideration is based upon a professional display, uniqueness, quality product, and conducting business in a professional manner. Only a limited number of food vendors will be approved for each event based on the needs of that event. 

Requirements

Henrico County Health Department:  The Henrico County Health Department requires vendors to carry a Temporary Food service Permit or Mobile Food Unit Permit. These permits can be obtained from the Henrico County Health Department, (804) 501-4529. Please be advised that the Health Department will inspect your setup at each event.

Henrico County Division of Fire: Please review the Concession Stands/ Food Tents/ Food Trucks/ Food Vendor Fire Prevention Checklist provided by the Office of the Fire Marshal.

Henrico County Department of Finance:  A business license is required to sell items on park property. Please visit the Henrico County Department of Finance page for an application.

Henrico County Recreation and Parks:  It is a requirement that food vendors provide a certificate of insurance (COI) for at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and the COI must name County of Henrico as certificate holder and additionally insured. The COI will be collected prior to the event. Please see the Henrico County Insurance Specifications.
