Magisterial District: Brookland Fairfield Three Chopt Tuckahoe Varina

The County of Henrico will be designing and constructing the following improvements:

Several traffic calming projects throughout Henrico County, such as converting several temporary neighborhood roundabouts into permanent roadway features.
Existing temporary roundabouts in the Charles Glen neighborhood (Brookland district), an existing temporary roundabout at Doron Lane & Oak Hill Lane (Fairfield District), and an existing temporary roundabout on Colleen Road and Subrenda Lane (Fairfield) will be constructed as permanent roadway features.

Design is underway.
Right-of-way acquisition is not anticipated.
Utility relocation is not anticipated.
Advertisement for construction is anticipated to begin February 2023.
Construction is anticipated to begin May 2023.

Progress to Date

Construction is completed for the roundabout at Oak Hill Lane and Doron Lane.
Construction is anticipated for the roundabouts in Charles Glen in mid-June, 2023.
Construction is anticipated for the roundabout on Colleen Road and Subrenda Lane in early fall 2023.
