In our continuing commitment to go the extra mile on behalf of our community, the Henrico Economic Development Authority and the Department of Public Works are proud to launch the Floodplain Assistance Grant Program to help residents and businesses adhere to floodplain regulations by offering grants for No-Rise Certificate and Flood Map Revision related expenses, as outlined below. Grant funds will be distributed as a reimbursement after the proposed development project has received permit approvals.

| No Impact Statement – Conveyance Shadow | 100% of cost up to $5,000 |
| No Impact Statement – Peak Offset Analysis | 100% of cost up to $10,000 |
| Compensatory Storage | 50% of cost up to $15,000 |
| Flood Study | 50% of cost up to $25,000 |
The Floodplain Assistance Program will have $500,000 available in 2024. To apply for this program, please complete the Rebate Request Form and submit it to the Department of Public Works.
