Henrico County will hold a resource fair Thursday, March 26 to highlight the many programs and activities available this summer for youth.
The Summer Ready Resource Fair is scheduled from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Libbie Mill Library, 2100 Libbie Lake E. St. The free event will share information about local programs and activities for youth in kindergarten through 12th grade, including camps, recreational opportunities and career-exploration activities.
Youth and families will be able to meet with representatives of county agencies and local organizations to learn about their offerings. Pizza will be available while supplies last.
“Families are preparing for summer and are looking for ways to keep their young people engaged, active and supported during the break,” said Kendall Johnson, youth engagement specialist for Henrico’s Outreach & Engagement Agency. “The Summer Ready Resource Fair offers a one-stop opportunity for students to explore summer options with Henrico County.”
