Info: The Henrico Emergency Communications Center received two 911 calls about a male who was hit by a vehicle. It was reported by both callers that Mr. Fleming was lying in the road. One witness stated a possible white Chevrolet Malibu ran over Mr. Fleming and then left the scene. A short time later, another caller stated they were unable to avoid running over Mr. Fleming and remained on scene with investigators.

Surveillance video shows a vehicle pulling out of Short Pump Town Center and turning in that direction.

Info: Ms. Bugg was walking westbound (in the eastbound lanes) on the shoulder of Nine Mile Road between Taft Road and Westover Avenue when she, and her infant son she was holding, were struck by a vehicle. The suspect vehicle, believed to be silver in color, was traveling eastbound in the right lane of Nine Mile Road. The driver of the vehicle immediately fled the scene. Ms. Bugg succumbed to her injuries.
