CALEA Accreditation Public Comment Portal
We need your help!
Every year the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc., (CALEA) requires accredited public safety agencies to show proof of compliance of CALEA standards. The Henrico County Police Division has been accredited in Law Enforcement by CALEA since 1987 and has had a TRI-ARC designation since 2017.
As part of the Division’s mission to become re-accredited in the coming years, an Accreditation Public Comment Portal was developed by CALEA to allow citizens to share comments regarding an agency’s compliance with CALEA standards, engagement in the service community, delivery of public safety services and overall candidacy for accredited status. These comments may be shared in the form of commendations or concerns.
If you have a spare moment, Henrico Police encourages all community members to take the opportunity to share comments as part of the Division’s re-accreditation process.
